    Alternative Pain Relief

    Alternative Pain Relief

How much do you spend on pain relief? It’s a rhetorical question, but statistics show that the annual cost of healthcare due to pain ranges from $560 billion to $635 billion in 2010. This is in the United States alone, which combines the economic and medical costs to disability days, lost wages, and productivity.
It is estimated that approximately 42 million of American adults report that pain and/or physical discomfort hurt their sleep cycle a few nights a week or more. Back pain is the leading pain condition to these reports at approximately 27%, followed by headaches, migraines, and neck pain at approximately 15%.
How we deal with pain can not only affect our finances, but hinder in keeping our bodies truly healthy. For example; in a study conducted in 2010 with over 1000 participants, those who participated suffered either mostly from common leg or back pain. In the study, participants were given prescription drugs (non-placebo). Many of the participants still reported having chronic pain affect their everyday lives as much as it did before.
Dr. Gary Franklin, M.D. – who was quoted in a consumer reports article – stated, “What concerns me is that there is no clear evidence that people who take opioids over the long term can do more or get around more easily. But we do know that the higher the dose of the drug and the longer you take it, the greater your risk.”
What is a better solution than having to take higher doses of prescription pain relief drugs? The answer is Incrediwear. Our studies have shown that our products increase circulation and decrease inflammation & pain by an average of 75% in people who suffer from Neuropathy. In a seven-day trial, 3/4 people noticed a significant decrease in their pain to little to no pain at end of the seventh day. We have seen similar effects in people with arthritis, tendonitis, and variety of other conditions. The answer really is that simple, increase circulation! By significantly & effectively increasing circulation, our products are revolutionizing the health & fitness, medical, pharmaceutical, and natural wellness industries worldwide.
Our products are embedded with active elements (Carbon & Germanium) that work naturally with your body. These elements are activated by your body heat, and relieve pain, stiffness, reduce inflammation from symptoms affiliated with: arthritis, tendonitis, neuropathy, impact injuries, muscle fatigue, achy joints, and much more.

    Knee Injury Prevention

    Knee Injury Prevention

The three basic knee injury prevention tips are stretch, strengthen, and stop. These tips are not designed to increase performance, but rather keep the goal of preventing injury in the forefront of your mind.

Stretching begins with flexibility or getting the blood flowing throughout the surrounding muscles of the knee such as; the hip, thigh, hamstring, groin, glutes, and knee flexors and extensors. Flexibility declines with age and can be tough to regain. It is best to keep a constant daily routine of stretching. Since knee injuries, aches and pain are one of the most common injuries and physical ailments; Incrediwear’s Knee Sleeve maintains the ability to increase circulation, which can help when it comes to stretching.

The Incrediwear Knee Sleeve is flexible, allowing for the knee to bend slowly during stretching exercises. Proper stretching before exercising or just in general allows the knees to remain flexible during movement and through every day activities.

Next, to help prevent knee injury is strengthening. Strengthening the knee, begins with working the muscles around it, specifically in the hip, thigh, glutes, knee extensors, and the knee joint. Strengthening lower leg muscles such as the ankle plantar-flexors & dorsi-flexors is also recommended.

While the traditional ways to strengthen these areas is by utilizing free weight exercises or weight machines, there are some key exercises you can do right in your office or home when you can’t get to the gym. You can use body exercises such as squats, wall squats or lunges. Use caution when doing all these exercises, as form is very important to not cause self-injury. If you have knee problems already, and are looking to work on strengthening your knees, we recommend doing these techniques with Incrediwear Knee Sleeves.

Incrediwear Knee Sleeves are great for strengthening exercises, and can help you push your limits. For example, if you are looking to do wall squats, but are unable to squat down at a 45 to 90-degree angle; we recommend wearing our Knee Sleeve and simply starting where you feel comfortable. Remain squatting as long as you can, and slowly walk your way back to a standing position. Keep wearing the Incrediwear Knee Sleeve throughout the day for recovery.

Other products such as Leg Sleeve(s), Men’s or Women’s Performance Pants, and Ankle Sleeve(s) are available for recovery for the surrounding Knee muscles. It is our recommendation that if you are doing any heavy squat-lifts, wear our Knee Sleeves during, and then Leg Sleeve(s) after.

Finally, know when stop. Over-exercising causes many health problems such as; bodily catabolic state (body tissues break down), excess in cortisol (a stress hormone released that leads to chronic disease), increased risk of injury, microscopic tears in the muscle fibers, weakened immune system, and possible development of insomnia. More serious risks involve damage to the heart and cardiac arrest.

Rest is an important part of recovery. This is why Incrediwear Knee Sleeves are such an important part of recovery because during rest, your knees are still benefiting from the embedded elements in the fabric fibers of the Incrediwear Knee Sleeve. This is what we call accelerated recovery.

Accelerating recovery allows you to push your limits when you are active, helping you remain in an active lifestyle. Our knees are a big part of keeping us moving day-to-day. And Incrediwear is dedicated to making the best possible product to help you take care of them.

    Roll With the Punches

Luis Garcia is a rising athlete in the boxing profession, and is one of Incrediwear’s new ambassadors. Garcia was raised in Ixtlán Del Río, Mexico, but was originally born in Juneau, Alaska. At age 11, he moved back to the states and began his boxing career at age 17. He identifies as an Alaska-Mexican Boxer.

Garcia’s determination and dedication to the sport has made him rise to become a local star in Juneau, Alaska. His fighting style can somewhat mimic the out-fighter style, which boxers like Muhammad Ali, Larry Holmes, Benny Leonard, and Gene Tunney are known for. But Garcia considers “his style” more of a mix between Mexican and his favorite boxer, Canelo Alvarez, who tends to lean toward the boxer-puncher and counterpuncher styles.
Whatever people believe Garcia’s style is, the fact is it’s working extremely well in the ring. With a 23-3-0 record so far, Garcia’s continued success is moving him to take the next step in his career by fighting outside of Alaska.

On November 17, 2016, Garcia sent Incrediwear a video of him training with an Incrediwear Calf Sleeve testifying “been abusing the calf sleeve and it’s been doing me wonders!” The process of watching some Garcia’s bouts was such a treat for the Incrediwear organization that the decision was quickly made to bring Garcia onboard.

Incrediwear knows the range of injuries boxers can attain during a bout. Some of the more common injuries are; cuts and bruises, sprains and strains, concussions, fractures, and dislocated shoulder(s). Where Incrediwear can’t keep a boxer from being cut or bruised by incoming fists; Incrediwear products can focus on accelerating a boxer’s recovery and injury prevention specifically with sprains, strains, certain fractures, and dislocated shoulders.

Incrediwear’s injury prevention and accelerated recovery allow athletes to not only protect their muscles from fatigue or injury during their workouts, but allows for increased circulation while they are at rest. The benefits range from pain relief, decreased inflammation & swelling, increased oxygen to the muscles, and optimized performance.

It is our privilege to help young athletes like Garcia and veteran athletes maintain their health and fitness to assist them in optimizing their performance and recovery so that they can be at their best.

Life On the Downhill - Maria Tviberg

Life On the Downhill - Maria Tviberg

Incrediwear features our newest ambassador, Maria Tviberg, this week as a rising star in her discipline. Tviberg is a Norwegian Alpine Skier, who competes for the national team of Norway. She moved to Geilo at age 14 with her family in order to ski more.
“My family has sacrificed a lot to get me to where I am today,” Tviberg said. “In my spare time I like to use my time with my family and friends, and I also have a dog who I love being with.”
Alpine (AKA downhill) skiing highlights competitors to race down snow covered slopes on skis with fixed heel bindings. Skiers follow the fall line down the slope’s steepest direction, trying to beat the fastest time of other skiers. As a result, many accidents happen from a skier’s miscalculation, resulting in an isolated fall. Knee injuries account for over 30% of Alpine skiing injuries.

Despite being quite young, Maria has dealt with numerous injuries over the years. However, she keeps a positive attitude because she believes when you are positive, anything is possible.
"I’ve dealt with many injuries,” Tviberg comments. “Incrediwear has been a big help in my recovery and rehab. They made me able to train harder and more, to get me back on track where I belong; the slopes, with skies on my feet! I love the products especially the knee sleeves, recovery legs and socks stand out to me."
Out of the total events she competed in for 2015; Tviberg placed in the top four of eleven events, five of which she won overall. Her determination, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for skiing is a huge part of what inspires us at Incrediwear to produce active recovery products to help athletes and active people everywhere to recover faster, and optimize performance for whatever mountain(s) in life you need to conquer.

The top 5 injuries for Golf are Back Pain, Tendinitis in the Elbows, Knee Pain, Rotator Cuff injuries, and Wrist injuries; all of which can be linked to the golfer’s swing.
Golf may seem like an easy going game, but the slightest flaw in your swing can keep you from playing all eighteen holes. This is why Incrediwear, pro athletes, physicians, and medical trainers recommend all our products to professional and amateur players for any sport in which they are competing. All our products not only help you recover, but can assist in injury resistance as well.
Many are not aware that you can wear our products 24/7, (taking them off to wash them of course). The more you wear the product(s), the more time is given for it to work on reducing swelling by increasing circulation. The increase in circulation works much better than compression.
For the most part, compression is much like the band aid for sports injuries. Unlike compression, our products stimulate nutrient dense cells that work to flush out symptoms affiliated with many sports injuries that cause pain, fatigue, and swelling.
Don't live with elbow discomfort anymore. Get faster relief now with Incrediwear, and save yourself the pain of dealing with it everyday.
