"4 weeks ago I tried to play 18 holes of golf with an arthritic left hip. I was miserable and by the 3rd hole was pretty much worthless. I told a friend of this and the told me about another friend who used the Hip brace with great success. Well I bit the bullet and ordered it and have not been in any way disappointed. I played 18 holes of golf 2 days in a row, and went for a 5-mile hike with 1500 vertical feet of climbing and amazingly no pain. It just plain works. It completely stabilized my hip, supports it when rotational or torsional stresses on it and I managed to get through 36 holes of golf without any pain."

"I like the idea of this, I ordered one in the size that should have worked from the chart provided. I had to return it and go up a size it fits well around the hip and stomach, but the leg part is just so tight. I'm going to keep it, but I wouldn't wear it for long periods of time."

"This brace definitely gives relief for hip issues. The only problem with it is the sizing. based on the sizing chart I should’ve needed a medium, but I actually ended up with an extra large. It seems that the bottom where the stitching is very tight around the thigh. Thankful that they have free returns."

Hip Labral Tear Relief

"67 yr old basketball player Ortho advised labral surgery is a 50/50 proposition. Not good enough for me. I started using the Incredi hip brace when I play ball, bike, leg day @the gym. It has certainly dampened the daily pain . My choices were to refrain from activity other than walking (limiting that too) and see how it reacts, or have surgery then 12 weeks of limited movement. The brace has genuinely relieved some of the soreness and allows me to play ball and wake up the next day feeling better than I did when not using it. I did my own test one week with the brace one without for one month. The brace wins hands down, honestly didnt think it was possible but I use the knee braces and they work exceptionally well so had to take a shot. Glad I did!"

Q&A

Does the brace slide up and down for using the restroom?: Hello Jody! When the Velcro waist belt is fastened, the garment isn't really intended to slide up and down, but if you undo the waist belt and fold the garment down you can easily use the bathroom without having to remove the product from the thigh. Also, there is a cut-out in the front and back, and some customers are able to use the bathroom carefully without removing the garment at all. How feasible this is will largely depend on how the garment fits you, but I would suggest cycling through the product photos for the Hip Brace on the product page, so that you can get an idea of what the cut-out looks like in the front and back.
