- Can the socks replace the ankle sleeve? I'm having trouble getting socks over the ankle sleeve I bought, and this looks like it might be a better solution. In other words, will the socks provide the same benefits as the ankle sleeve?
- The ankle sleeve is going to target your ankle more specifically and has stronger fabric in terms of therapeutic infrared. The active socks provide the same technology, just not as powerful as the ankle sleeve.

- Hello Nela! The Active Socks are made with a combination of bamboo charcoal fiber, cotton, and flexible fiber. They do not contain polyester. These socks are fairly breathable, and the infrared technology behind them (and other Incrediwear products) does give them a moderately strong antimicrobial quality, which keeps them from developing odors as easily as regular socks. - I have occasional tendinitis in my left ankle. What product do you recommend?
- Hello Bob! The most effective product for that is going to be the Ankle Sleeve, hands down. It has a more potent concentration of our therapeutic infrared material than any of our socks. That being said, if you'd rather get a pair of socks (instead of a thick, open-toed single sleeve) with a somewhat comparable level of therapy to the Ankle Sleeve, you'll want to check out the Circulation Socks. The bottom line is that the Ankle Sleeve is the more powerful option to wear at home and while at rest, while the Circulation Socks might be the more practical option for everyday wear in shoes. The more you wear Incrediwear, the more exposure you get to the mid and far-level infrared from the fabric, and the more benefit you get. Incrediwear does NOT need to be worn tightly, it just needs to be activated by your body heat to release that infrared continuously as you wear it. - How long do they last?
- One of the most amazing qualities about our products- the semiconductive elements that are embedded into the fibers of the material utilized in our products NEVER degrade. They can't be washed out, they can't be cut out, and they don't fade out. Their efficacy also does not lessen over time, and they will continue to release mid and far level infrared waves when activated by your body heat, just the same as the day you buy it. Your products should be washed (semi) regularly, according to wash instructions; it will keep them in their original shape/size better and will prevent sweat, body oils, and skin cells from collecting in the material. The care instructions can be found on every product page on our website, as well as on the packaging. Our products are subject to wear and tear, just like a garment, and should be replaced like you would a garment-when it not longer fits comfortably or has unsightly blemishes. However, as long as the product fits you well, there is no need to replace it.
