I injured my knee during a long, challenging hike last fall and struggled for several months, even going to physical therapy. That helped a little, but as soon as I got back outside on another hike, my knee flared again. At this point, I bought the incrediwear sleeve after reading the reviews, however I wore it irregularly rather than all the time as it needs to be worn for maximum benefit. This week I injured my knee AGAIN (ugh!) and, because I was hobbled with pain this time, went to an orthopedist who ended up giving me a steroid injection. Now I'm wearing the knee sleeve 24/7 and that, along with the injection, have my knee pain down to a 1. I rode my Peloton yesterday (1 day after the injection) with my knee sleeve on and have had no issues since. I plan to do a row today, and am confident that, with the sleeve in place, I'll have a good result. It's too soon to report miraculous recovery, but now that I'm committed to wearing my knee sleeve all the time, I am confident I'm on the right track to be back on the trails this coming spring. (Oh, haven't tried heating it in hot water for deep cold therapy... read about that in the blog on this site... but am planning on doing that tonight to see how it might further help.
